Key Ingredients & Their Functions

  • Peptide-based whey protein blend (hydrolysed whey peptides, isolate, concentrate): protein contributes to the growth and maintenance of muscle mass.¹ Hydrolysed whey peptides are digested and absorbed faster than intact protein.²
  • Ca-HMB: a leucine metabolite that supports muscle protein maintenance.³
  • Amino acid blend (L-glutamine, BCAA 2:1:1, L-arginine, L-lysine, L-histidine): building blocks for protein synthesis.⁴
  • MCT and oleic sunflower oil: MCTs are a readily used energy source.⁵
  • Soluble and insoluble fibre (Sunfiber® PHGG, inulin, oats): support normal bowel function.⁶˒⁷
  • Probiotics and digestive enzymes: support digestion.⁸˒⁹
  • Bovine colostrum: a naturally occurring source of milk proteins and immunoglobulins.¹⁰
  • Vitamins C and E, zinc and green tea polyphenols: vitamins C and E and zinc help protect cells from oxidative stress.¹¹⁻¹³ Zinc and vitamin C contribute to normal immune function.¹²˒¹⁴ Green tea polyphenols have antioxidant properties.¹⁵ Vitamin C also contributes to normal collagen formation.¹⁶
